Really?!? There are people who still deny the Holocaust? There are young people who don't actually know what happened? Increasingly, as survivors are dying from old age, this is becoming a reality, but we can never forget the extermination of 6 million Jews!

Michael Bornstein was finally motivated to write his story when he saw a picture of himself on a Holocaust denier site. He couldn't believe that a picture of him during the liberation of Auschwitz, was being used to deny what the Nazi's did to the Jewish Population of Europe in WWII.

His family, those who survived, only did so through bribery, good fortune, and many, many miracles. This book tells the tale of his birth, after the Nazi invasion of Poland, his early life in the Zarki Ghetto, and his eventual imprisonment in the Auschwitz Concentration Camp.

He was the youngest person to survive the camp. Most children were immediately sent to their deaths. But he and his grandmother survived. And yet the survival story does not end with the liberation. Until his family immigrates to the United States there was much more surviving and much endurance.
